Our much loved - Oven Stuffed Peppers

This is a recipe we frequent in our house, all three of my kids LOVE it, and my Farmer usually asks for it on a weekly basis. My ever so picky daughter usually gets her 'stuffing' just in a baking dish rather than a cooked pepper (because god forbid, a pepper gets mushy), but she still asks for seconds. This is definitely a must try!

What you need:
1lb ground beef
1 cup cooked rice
5 Peppers, tops and seeds discarded
2 8oz cans Tomato Sauce
1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning for mixture
1 tsp Italian seasoning mixed in 1 can of tomato sauce
salt & pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Cook meat over medium heat until brown.
Arrange peppers in baking dish.
In a bowl mix meat, rice, 1 can of plain tomato sauce, worcestershire, garlic powder, onion powder, italian seasoning and salt and pepper. Spoon mixture into peppers.
Pour 1 can of tomato sauce with italian seasoning over top of peppers.
Bake peppers for 1 hour, basting every 15 min, until the peppers are tender.
tip: I usually use more tomato sauce then stated, but not necessary.
